Assignment – Write Learning Objectives

Throughout the next few weeks, you’ll be developing actual course materials for you to use in an online course. In order for this activity to be meaningful, please pick a course topic that you either already teach or will be expected to teach in the future. Most of this work may have been developed in the last course. If this is not the case, you will need to have a course to plan and assess and this will help you develop one. 

Review the material in the videos and in the Blooms material before you attempt to complete this assignment. 

 For this assignment, please do the following:

1. Write a brief description of the course you’ll be teaching.
2. Write three overall course outcomes using Bloom’s Taxonomy.
3. Three overall course outcomes, what you want your students to learn in this course
4. Write two to four for each topic-specific (weekly or unit level) objectives using Bloom’s Taxonomy style.
5. Write topic, weekly lesson or unit topic goals.
6. These should be the two or more for each of the first two weeks of the course. 
8. NOTE: For this assignment you will have a description of the course, 3 course goals, two objectives for each of the first two weeks or units of learning/teaching.
9. This will help you complete the course demonstration or final assignment.

This assignment is worth 20 points.
