Our CLEPP program is a way in which life and/or career experience can be earned toward credits related to a degree program. 

This program is not an “Honorary Degree”, TECU does not issue Honorary Degrees. 

Like many state and private universities, we use life and career experience to show competency in various subjects, which allows us to apply credits toward a degree track.

CLEPP Program and Procedures

It is important to note: Upon review, additional courses or Oxford Method readings may be required based on the submitted material. This means that if the review finds that one does not have enough experience or previous education that meets our review requirement, the candidate must do additional courses or reading to meet those requirements. Just because tuition is paid does not mean a degree is issued.  TECU has a high standard for CLEPP approval.
