This course, U120 Basic Discipleship, is an in-depth exploration of what it means to live a life of faith beyond the initial decision to follow Jesus. Designed as a practical guide for spiritual growth, this course will equip you with the tools and understanding needed to apply biblical principles to your daily life.
Over ten sections, we will delve into key areas of Christian living, beginning with the importance of a personal prayer life and its role in fostering intimacy with God. From there, we’ll examine God’s design for marriage and sexuality, exploring its purpose and practical application within a Christian context. We will also address the dynamics of family relationships and Christian parenting, providing strategies for nurturing love, faith, and communication within the home.
The course concludes by looking outward to the essential role of the Church in the life of a disciple, highlighting the importance of community, service, and finding your place within the body of believers. By the end of this course, you will have a comprehensive understanding of how to integrate your faith into your personal life, family, and wider community, empowering you to live as a true disciple of Christ.
